The collection consists of a carbon typed copy of the minutes and treasurer's accounts of the Society for the period 1819-1824. The original Pendleton Sunday School Society records and minutes, 1819-1938 (Manuscripts I&O) at the South Caroliniana Library, University of South Carolina were copied by Mary Pope Jacobs in 1936 as part of Works Progress Administration Project 65-33-118, sponsored by the University of South Carolina and supervised by Dr. Anne K.
