There is a nine page history of the society written by J.M. Napier which focuses upon its early years and gives some genealogical information about its members. Also, a three page account of the 97th annual meeting of the Society at which Dr. R.F. Poole introduced the topic of discussion, 'The Farmer's Part in the War Effort', also written by Napier.

This collection contains the original work sheet, galleys, and final proof sheets for A Dutch Fork Farm Boy. There are also specialist's drafts (William J. Barker; F.H.H. Calhoun; G.H. Collings; H.P. Cooper; J.B. Douthit; Thomas C. Peele; Gilbert C. Robinson; Hubert J. Webb), research notes, work sheets, drafts, galleys, and printer's copy for a book on conservation, Our Land Is Our Life.

Handwritten essays or lectures (originals and photocopies) on education, Andrew Pickens, English history. Treaty of Hopewell-on-Keowee, Institute (Experiment station) notes, 1902; a list of occupations of parents and guardians of Clemson students, 1897-1902; D.K. Norris correspondence, July 15, 1895 re local Indian legend; two oversize photographs, one a campus view and one of cadets, faculty, and trustees, were removed and filed in the Mss photograph files.
