This collection consists of the personal papers of Russell E. Dickenson which documents his long career as an employee of the National Park Service, especially his tenure as the Director of the National Park Service from May 1980 to March 1985, as well as his career after he retired from the Service.
Statistical report of the Crooked Run [Presbyterian] Church, which includes the number baptized and the race of the members. G. Yarborn, C.H. Scruggs, and alternate J.T. Lyles were authorized in this report to deliver it and sit with the Association. Unsigned.
The collection includes a negative photocopy of one record book. The book contains church records from 1796-1815 (in folder 1). Apparently it was also used as an account book by George Cooper. The section with the accounts contains a list of Negroes and their owners (in folder 2). At the end of the book there is a record of a birth, a baptism and two deaths in the Samuel James Bradley family (in folder 3). Information from first guide entry in 1968.
