The R. Neal Campbell Collection documents life in Upcountry South Carolina textile communities by bringing together memorabilia, artifacts, documentaries, interviews, publications, news clippings, and photographs.
The collection consists of two style books, 1949-1951, which contain technical information on various textile styles, such as weight and warp, and lists concerning both Ottaray Textiles and Haynsworth Mills; a record book of the receipts and expenditures of the Woodside Mills foundation for the period 1951-1974; and a notebook of executive position descriptions classified and evaluated by Hay Associates for Dan River, Inc., 1971-1977.
