This series contains audio recordings produced by the Clemson University Communications Center, 1965-1979. The recordings consist of interviews with administrators, professors, and students on a variety of topics.
This collection consists primarily of material which Lemon collected and created during his long association with IPTAY, Clemson's athletic support group, the Clemson Alumni Association and Loyalty Fund, and the University Foundation. Mr. Lemon gave the collection to the Library in February, 1984 with the request that a number of items be restricted for fifteen years.
This collection consists mainly of Gaston G. Gage's correspondence relating to Clemson College, the School of Textiles, and his various personal interests. It includes several essays presented at the Clemson Forum Club. Gage's correspondence documents his career as a professor and dean at Clemson University, as well as his involvment in community and church affairs. There is some material related to his wife, Ruth Vardell Gage (1899-1981).
Clemson Professor Joseph L. Arbena conducted a series of interviews between the years 1980 and 1983 as part of research for a 1984 book that he helped edit titled IPTAY: The First Fifty Years. The interviews focus on the establishment and evolution of the IPTAY organization during the fifty year period 1934-1984.
