Scope and Contents The collection consists of a transmittal letter, minutes of meetings, a journal of proceedings and publications. The 1947 letter tansferring the collection to the Libraries is from Dr. Robert F. Poole, president of Clemson University. Minutes include those of the A.B.C. Farmers Club for the period 1846-1848; from the Beech Island Agricultural Club for 1856-1862 (the first nine pages of this period are missing, although it forms the bulk of the collection); and minutes from 1872-1874.
