Agricultural Business Office Personnel Records

 Collection
Identifier: Series-0065

Scope and Content Note

This series contains files on personnel of the Cooperative Extension Service at Clemson College. The records span the years 1920-1963. The files contain rosters of workers, biographical information on individual workers, dates of employment of workers, terms and conditions of employment, salary data, and photographs of many employees. Some folders contain limited correspondence with the employee concerning retirement.

While the bulk of records pertain to Clemson College employees, a portion pertains to employees of Winthrop College (in Rock Hill, South Carolina) which administered Extension activities in the field of home economics.

Because of the poor quality of the paper on which the data was recorded, photocopies have been made of many of the originals. For a complete listing of the contents, please refer to the inventory that follows this description.
