The Oliver Heaviside Collection contains correspondence during 1918 and 1919 and lists. There are copies of 4 letters written by Oliver Heaviside to B.A. Behrend from Homefield, Torquay, during 1918 and 1919. (The original letters are at The Institute of Electrical Engineers, Savoy Place, London). The letters refer to Behrend's desire to honor Heaviside's work and Heaviside's reaction to Behrend's offer. Also in the collection are two lists of items. One list is entitled "List of Items in File Entitled: Behrend (B.A.) Collections-Oliver Heaviside." That list mentions 34 items. The other list entitled "Lists of Items in Notebook Entitled 'Notes on Oliver Heaviside.'" That lists mentions 18 items. These lists were found by James E. Brittain in the Clemson University Behrend Papers relating to Oliver Heaviside.
