On index cards are listed the date, a short synopsis of the event, and usually some citation. Dr. Schaffer may have used this information when preparing his pictorial history of Clemson, Visions: Clemson's Yesteryears, 1880s-1960s.

Scope and Contents

The collection consists of positives, negatives and slides that depict the history of Clemson University. There are about 1200 prints, about 1150 negatives and 1200 slides with images that span the period from 1880s to 1960s.

Abstract

"Women Themselves" was a series of 26 half hour radio programs produced and broadcast by WEPR, a national pubic radio station located in Greenville, South Carolina. The project was jointly sponsored by WEPR and Alan Schaffer of the Department of History at Clemson University.
