This series consists of the records of the Athletic Council of Clemson University, 1983-1992. Contained in the series are minutes, 1983-1992; communications of council members, 1989-1991; and minutes of the Council Organization and Operation Review Committee, 1989-1991.

Scope and Contents This series forms part the records of the Athletic Council. In addition to the Council records are papers of the Clemson College Athletic Association and papers of Walter Merritt Riggs relating to athletics. The records consist of correspondence, minutes and reports and span the period 1899 through 1996.
