Abstract
The provenance of these papers is unknown, but in 1927 Dr. William Hayne Mills, a Clemson College professor, asked Mr. W. A. James, Secretary of the South Carolina State Grange, to prepare a history of the South Carolina Grange. Mr. James prepared a short history using an original volume of minutes.
