Introduction This collection consists mainly of papers relating to the organization and activities of the Clemson Branch of the American Association of University Women (AAUW) from 1947- 1989. The philosophy and aims of the organization are explained in a history found in the collection.The collection was donated to Clemson University in February, 1986 by Myra Bregger, Clemson Branch President from 195 1- 1953 and an active member of the national, state, and local AAUW for nearly forty years....

Scope and Contents The papers include correspondence, financial records, minutes, and photographs. The papers document primarily Edythe Lambert's work with the American Association of University Women's Clemson Branch and South Carolina Division, the Clemson Child Development Center, and Clemson Congregations in Touch.
